Unity Communications is looking for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist who treats payroll like a craft and employee support like second nature. You’ll handle the details, answer the “quick questions,” and make sure benefits and pay are always on point. How You Spend Your Eight Hours
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to compensation and benefits, providing clear, timely, and accurate support
Facilitate the processing of government-mandated benefits such as SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG, ensuring all documentation is complete and submitted on time
Coordinate with government agencies and internal stakeholders to resolve issues, follow up on claims, and maintain compliance with regulations
Administer HMO processes, including enrollments, updates, removals, and billing validation, ensuring accuracy in records and reporting
Communicate benefits programs, updates, and policy changes in a way that employees can easily understand and act on
Process end-to-end payroll, including reviewing timekeeping data, calculating salaries, overtime, allowances, and deductions, and ensuring timely and accurate payouts
Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and payroll systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality at all times
Review attendance, leaves, and holiday pay to validate payroll inputs and resolve discrepancies before processing
Prepare and release final pay for exiting employees, ensuring all requirements and clearances are completed properly
Monitor and manage employee requests through the ESS ticketing system, ensuring timely follow-ups and resolution of concerns
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other teams to ensure smooth handling of employee concerns and continuous improvement of processes
Support onboarding activities such as HR orientation and benefits briefing for new hires
Cross-train across HR and ESS functions to provide backup support and maintain operational continuity
What You Must Possess
At least 2–3 years of experience in compensation and benefits, payroll, or HR operations
Working knowledge of Philippine labor laws and statutory benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR)
Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and a service-oriented approach, with experience using HRIS or payroll systems (Sprout is a plus)
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a service-oriented mindset

What You Should Consider
Full-time position
