As the SEO Specialist at Unity Communications, you will help improve our organic visibility through strategic on-page optimization, technical SEO, and backlink development. You'll identify opportunities, solve ranking and indexing challenges, and help ensure our websites continue to grow through sustainable search performance.

How You Spend Your Eight Hours
Optimize published content based on keyword strategy and SEO best practices, including metadata, headers, internal linking, image optimization, and schema markup
Collaborate with content writers and marketing stakeholders to improve content visibility and search performance
Manage SEO implementation within WordPress and other CMS platforms, including plugin configuration and metadata management
Monitor indexing, crawlability, and website health through Google Search Console and other SEO tools
Identify and resolve technical SEO issues such as crawl errors, duplicate content, canonicalization concerns, and indexing delays
Conduct regular technical SEO audits focused on site architecture, page speed, mobile responsiveness, and structured data integrity
Coordinate with developers and internal stakeholders to implement SEO recommendations and technical improvements
Develop and execute ethical link-building campaigns that strengthen domain authority and support organic growth objectives
Monitor backlink profiles, conduct link audits, and manage disavow processes when necessary
Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, crawl health, and backlink performance using industry-standard SEO platforms
Prepare performance reports and provide actionable insights based on SEO data and trends
Stay informed about algorithm updates, search engine changes, and emerging SEO best practices
What You Must Possess
At least two years of experience in SEO, preferably handling on-page, technical, and link-building initiatives
Strong understanding of SEO principles, search engine algorithms, and organic growth strategies
Experience working with CMS platforms such as WordPress
Proficiency with Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, and other SEO tools
Experience conducting technical SEO audits and implementing optimization recommendations
Knowledge of website architecture, indexing, crawlability, structured data, and Core Web Vitals
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple SEO projects simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
Willingness to complete an SEO skills assessment during the hiring process

What You Should Consider
Full-time probationary position
Remote work setup
Night shift schedule aligned with Mountain Standard Time (MST)
Four-day workweek (4x11 schedule)
Rest days are Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
Salary package ranging from PHP 30,000 to PHP 35,000
Candidates must have a primary and backup internet connection with at least 100 Mbps speed each
Target start date: June 15, 2026 (flexible)
