BPO - SEO Specialist (Remote Setup)

The SEO Specialist is responsible for driving organic search growth through on-page optimization, technical SEO implementation, and strategic link-building initiatives.

This role manages the full lifecycle of SEO execution, from optimizing and publishing content within the CMS to maintaining technical site health, monitoring indexing, and strengthening the backlink profile. The Specialist ensures all published content adheres to SEO best practices and contributes to sustainable organic performance across both websites.

The position requires strong expertise in on-page SEO, technical audits, backlink management, and Google indexing processes, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions that improve visibility and rankings.

Key Responsibilities:

1. On-Page SEO and Content Optimization

• Ensure all published content is fully optimized in alignment with keyword strategy and SEO best practices.

• Collaborate with the content team to implement proper keyword placement, meta titles and descriptions, structured headers (H1–H6), internal linking, image alt text, and relevant schema markup.

• Oversee strategic scheduling of content to support efficient indexing and performance.

•  Conduct ongoing on-page audits to improve URL structure, internal linking frameworks, and content hierarchy.

• Monitor and refine published content to strengthen ranking performance.

2. Content Publishing and Indexing Management

• Manage SEO implementation within CMS platforms such as WordPress.

• Configure SEO plugins, metadata settings, and structured data accurately.

• Monitor indexing status through Google Search Console.

• Troubleshoot crawl errors, canonical tag issues, duplicate content, and indexing delays.

• Ensure newly published content is crawled and indexed efficiently.

• Support optimization of Core Web Vitals and on-page performance indicators.

3. Technical SEO Oversight

• Conduct regular technical SEO audits assessing crawlability, site structure, page speed, mobile responsiveness, and structured data integrity.

• Identify and resolve technical SEO issues impacting performance.

• Coordinate with web developers to implement required fixes.

• Ensure website architecture supports long-term scalability and search visibility.

• Maintain technical SEO standards across both domains.

4. Link-Building and Backlink Management

• Develop and execute white-hat link-building strategies aligned with organic growth objectives.

• Manage external vendors supporting link-building efforts, ensuring compliance with search engine guidelines.

• Monitor backlink profile health using SEO tools.

• Conduct regular backlink audits to identify and address toxic or low-quality links.

• Manage and update Google Disavow files when necessary.

• Track and report on link-building performance and its impact on authority and rankings.

5. Performance Monitoring and Reporting

• Utilize tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog to monitor SEO performance.

• Track keyword rankings, organic traffic trends, crawl health, and backlink growth.

• Identify optimization opportunities based on data analysis.

• Provide structured performance updates to leadership.

• Stay informed of algorithm updates and evolving SEO best practices.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Performance will be evaluated based on the following:

• Organic Traffic Growth- Sustained increase in organic sessions quarter-over-quarter.

• Keyword Ranking Improvements - Improvement in priority keyword visibility and ranking positions.

• Indexing and Technical Health - Minimal crawl errors, consistent indexing of new content, and stable Core Web Vitals.

• On-Page Optimization Compliance - Full adherence to established SEO optimization standards for published content.

• Backlink Profile Health - Growth in high-quality backlinks and maintenance of a clean backlink profile.

• Technical Issue Resolution Time - Timely identification and resolution of SEO-related technical issues.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated expertise in on-page and technical SEO.

• Proven experience in link-building and backlink management.

• Experience working with CMS platforms such as WordPress.

• Proficiency in SEO tools, including Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.

• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple SEO initiatives simultaneously.
